About the role
Idealworks is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation projects from concept to production. The role involves managing cross-functional teams across software and hardware workstreams, including mobile robots, humanoid platforms, and simulation environments. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring technical, schedule, and commercial alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex engineering projects across the full lifecycle from scoping and planning through execution, integration, testing, and handover.
- Define and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, and resourcing while monitoring schedule, cost, quality, and contractual compliance.
- Identify technical, schedule, and commercial risks early and drive mitigation and contingency planning across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Act as the connective layer between product management, partner management, solution engineering, software development, hardware development, R&D, and operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for shareholders, technology and integration partners, and customers.
- Prepare and lead steering committee meetings, status reviews, and escalation discussions.
- Track and report on project and portfolio KPIs to leadership and shareholders.
