Terms of Use

The rules for using the Grasshire Platform — what the site does, what it deliberately does not do, and what you are agreeing to when you create an account and apply for a job.

Effective 2 October 2026 · Version 1.1

Ask us about these terms

We would rather answer a question than have you agree to something you did not follow.

At a glance

  • We are not the employer. We do not decide who gets hired, and we do not verify the employers, job postings or salary ranges published here.
  • Browsing is open to anyone. Applying needs an account, so every application is attached to one you control and can see.
  • Every application is read by an AI model before a person sees it, and the result can influence whether you progress. You can ask the employer for a human review.
  • What you upload stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to show it to the employers you apply to.
  • Using the site to misrepresent yourself, scrape it, or apply on somebody else’s behalf without their say-so will cost you the account.

1Agreement to these Terms

The Grasshire Platform is operated by Quantum Evolution Technologies trading as QevolveX (“we”, “us”). These Terms apply when you browse jobs here, create an account, build a profile or apply for a role.

By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not create one — browsing without an account is open to anyone and requires nothing.

How your personal data is handled is a separate document: the Privacy Policy. It is longer than this one and more useful. If you only read one, read that.

Employers using the hiring system behind this site accept a different agreement. Nothing here creates any relationship between you and an employer.

2Who Can Use This Site

This is a hiring site for adults in the labour market. To hold an account you must be at least 16 years old, or older where your country sets a higher minimum working age or digital-consent age, and legally able to enter into these Terms.

We do not operate an age gate — date of birth is optional here, and where you give it, it is walled off from assessment and is therefore not available to check anything. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the applicable age, we will delete it and its data.

One account per person. Do not create an account for somebody else, and do not apply on another person’s behalf without their knowledge — an application carries their name, their resume and a consent recorded in their name.

3Your Account

You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Either way your credentials are held by Firebase Authentication rather than by us, and we never see your Google password.

  • Keep your account secure. You are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access.
  • Sessions are short. You are signed out after twenty minutes of inactivity — an ordinary security measure, not a fault.
  • Your account is yours to correct. Every profile field, and every education, experience, certification and language entry, can be edited or deleted individually at any time.

There is currently no self-service account deletion, and no self-service export. Both are handled by our team on request — write to us and a person will action it, without charge and without asking why. We would rather tell you that here than let you discover it while looking for a button. §9 of the Privacy Policy has the detail.

4What You Tell Us Must Be True

The information in your profile, your answers on an application form and the documents you upload must be accurate and about you. Employers make decisions on them, and an AI model reads them.

Do not misrepresent your identity, employment history, qualifications, certifications or work authorisation, and do not upload a document that is not yours to upload.

Work authorisation deserves a specific note. Recruiters can filter and sort candidates by it, so what you record there changes who sees you. Saying nothing is recorded as “not stated”, which is not the same as “not authorised” — leaving it blank is a legitimate choice, but stating something untrue is not.

A misrepresentation may cost you the account under §9, and it may have consequences with the employer that we are not party to.

5What This Site Is Not

The most important section here, and the one a template would bury. Read it before you rely on anything you see on this site.

  • We are not the employer, and we are not a recruitment agency. We provide the software an employer uses to run its own hiring. We do not employ anybody you apply to, and we are not acting for you or for them.
  • We do not make hiring decisions. Every stage change, rejection and offer is made by a person at the employer. We do not influence, review or overrule them, and we cannot tell you why one was made.
  • We do not verify employers or job postings. The job title, description, location, salary range, company details and requirements are written by the employer and published as given. We do not check whether a role exists, whether the company is what it claims, or whether a stated salary is real.
  • We do not vet an interview meeting link. It is text a recruiter pasted in. If you follow it you are on that provider’s service, under their terms, and we are not involved.
  • We do not guarantee employment, an interview, a response, or that an application will be read. Nothing here promises an outcome.

If a posting looks fraudulent, treat it as fraudulent. A genuine employer using this site does not need money from you, does not need your bank details or identity documents to arrange an interview, and does not need you to move the conversation onto a messaging app. Report it to us and stop responding.

6Your Profile, Documents and Applications

It stays yours

Your profile, your resume and other documents, and your application answers remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to operate the service with them: to store them, to show them to the employers you apply to, to send them to the AI provider described in §7, and to display them back to you.

That permission is not a licence to publish, sell, sublicense or market your data, and we do not. We do not share your profile with data brokers, CV databases or job aggregators, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.

Who sees it

  • An employer you apply to receives your application, your profile as it stood, your resume, your answers and the AI analysis.
  • Every employer on the platform can see your profile if — and only if — your Talent Directory consent is on. When you register, the “Let recruiters find me” box is already ticked; untick it before creating your account to stay out, or switch it off later from your profile. If you create your account with “Continue with Google” on the log-in page instead, there is no box: your profile is added to the directory, and you can switch it off from your profile. It includes your salary expectations and work authorisation unless you switch those off, and withdrawing it deletes the listing outright. §10 of the Privacy Policy is the full description; read it before you register.
  • Nobody else. An employer you have not applied to and not consented to holds nothing about you.

What we may remove

We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes somebody’s rights, contains malware, or breaches §4 or §8. We do not edit your profile to make it more attractive to employers and we do not rewrite your answers.

7Automated Screening and AI

Every application you submit is analysed automatically before a recruiter reads it. You are told this here because it can affect whether your application progresses, not because a rule requires a sentence.

  • Your resume file, the job description and your free-text answers are sent to Google’s Gemini model on Vertex AI.
  • It returns a score, sub-scores, extracted history, strength areas, risk areas and red flags, a salary recommendation, suggested interview questions and a final hire-or-reject recommendation with reasoning — all of which the employer sees.
  • Separately, each job may carry knockout and flag rules the recruiter set. These are evaluated deterministically rather than by a model, and the rules themselves are never shown to candidates.

It is advisory. A person still decides. No stage transition, rejection or offer is executed automatically on the strength of a model output — that is a design constraint, not a setting. But the output is visible to the person deciding and can influence them.

You can ask for a human review of an automated decision, and you can object to the analysis. Because the employer makes the decision, address the request to them; contact us and we will pass it on and tell you who it went to. There is no button for this in the product today — it is handled by people, on request.

The model reads your resume exactly as you wrote it. Nothing removes a photograph, a date of birth or a marital status from an uploaded document before the model sees it, and anything in there can surface in the risk areas a recruiter reads. We filter the questions an employer may ask you (§10 of the Privacy Policy); we cannot filter your own file.

Model output can be wrong, and can differ between runs on the same document. We do not warrant that a score, an extraction, a summary or a recommendation about you is accurate or fair — see §11.

8Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Misrepresent who you are, impersonate somebody else, or apply on another person’s behalf without their knowledge.
  • Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract job listings, employer details or anything else from the site, or use an automated tool to submit applications.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to bypass session expiry, rate limits or the signed links that protect documents.
  • Attempt to reach another candidate’s account, application or documents, or any part of the employer-facing system.
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes somebody’s rights.
  • Use the site to advertise, recruit, solicit or market anything, or to contact employers for a purpose other than applying for their roles.
  • Resell or provide access to the site as a service to somebody else.

9Suspension and Ending Your Account

If you want to leave

You can stop using the site at any time, and you can clear your profile field by field yourself. To delete the account entirely, write to us — as §3 says, there is no self-service deletion yet and a person will action it.

Your data is also deleted on a clock set by your own country — six months in Germany and the United Kingdom, twelve months elsewhere — running from your last activity. §8 of the Privacy Policy sets out what deletion does and what currently survives it.

If we suspend or close an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms — particularly §4 or §8 — or where it is necessary to protect other users, employers or the service. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.

Closing your account does not withdraw applications you already submitted. Those hiring records belong to the employers who received them and are governed by the retention rules in the Privacy Policy — they are anonymised rather than deleted, so the employer keeps the shell of the process without your name on it.

Not confirmed from source code – assumption made.

Any notice period, appeal route or reinstatement process for a suspended account is a policy decision with no counterpart anywhere in the codebase — there is no appeals workflow, no suspension notice template and no reinstatement endpoint. This section must be completed by the policy owner before these Terms are relied on.

10Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the site available, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may change, add to or withdraw features as the product develops.

A job listing can be closed or withdrawn by the employer at any time, including after you have applied. We do not control that and cannot restore it.

Not confirmed from source code – assumption made.

No service level agreement, uptime commitment, maintenance window or support response target exists in our codebase or deployment configuration. Nothing here is a commitment about availability, and any such commitment would have to come from the policy owner.

11Disclaimers and Liability

Two disclaimers below are not boilerplate — they describe real properties of the system:

  • AI output about you is not warranted to be accurate, complete or fair, for the reasons in §7.
  • Uploaded files are not scanned for malware, and a file’s type is checked from what your browser declares rather than by inspecting its contents.

Beyond those, the site is provided as it is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a listing is genuine or current, or that using it will lead to an interview, an offer or a job.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for any statutory consumer rights you hold that cannot be waived. Where you deal with us as a consumer, those rights stand regardless of anything on this page.

Not confirmed from source code – assumption made.

The limitation of liability, the categories of excluded loss and any cap on aggregate liability are legal terms with no artefact in the codebase. This section deliberately states no figure and no formula rather than proposing one, and must be completed by the policy owner and reviewed by counsel — with particular attention to the consumer protection rules of every jurisdiction the careers site is offered in.

12Governing Law and Complaints

If something goes wrong, write to us first — most things are resolved that way faster than by any formal route.

For a complaint about how your personal data has been handled, §9 and §15 of the Privacy Policy set out your rights and, if you are in the EEA or the UK, your right to complain to your national data protection authority. That route is available to you whatever this section eventually says.

Not confirmed from source code – assumption made.

No incorporation detail, registered office or place of business appears anywhere in the codebase, so the governing law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanism cannot be stated here. Because candidates are consumers and may be anywhere, this section must be completed by the policy owner and reviewed by counsel before these Terms are relied on — a governing-law clause that overrides a consumer’s local protections is unenforceable in much of the world.

13Changes to these Terms, and Contact

We may update these Terms as the site changes or the law does. Each version carries an effective date and a version number at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give notice before it takes effect rather than relying on you noticing a new date.

The operator’s name was supplied by the policy owner; it appears nowhere in the codebase. The registered address was supplied the same way. No company number or contact address appears there either, and every remaining value in the table above is a placeholder that must be completed before these Terms are published as binding.
