Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer

About the role

Berlitz is seeking a Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer to design and scale their next-generation cloud infrastructure and software delivery ecosystem. You will take ownership of core areas of the internal engineering platform, building modern infrastructure from scratch with minimal legacy debt. The role involves partnering with engineering teams to provide a paved road for safe, rapid, and autonomous code deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate secure, multi-account environments across AWS using modern Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Design and optimize container orchestration layers, standardizing on AWS ECS and AWS EKS.
• Build unified, reusable, and secure automated delivery workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Provide self-service infrastructure blueprints and automated guardrails to enable developer autonomy.
• Establish robust telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health.
• Embed automated security checks, IAM least-privilege models, and secure secrets management into the platform layer.

Qualifications
