Senior Solutions Architect (EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse Migrations)

About the role

The Solutions Architect (EDW Migrations) will drive product adoption and market fit for Databricks' strategic product lines across the EMEA region. This role involves collaborating with leadership and account teams to design migration strategies, mentor regional teams, and act as a technical escalation point for complex customer migrations. The architect will also bridge field insights with product R&D to enhance migration tooling and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional migration strategy by collaborating with EMEA GTM leadership and account teams.
• Develop programmatic and scalable migration processes and technical guides.
• Build and integrate automated assessment tooling for customer engagements.
• Act as the tier-3 technical escalation point for complex, strategic, or stalled migrations.
• Enable and scale regional teams through mentoring and coaching.
• Serve as a primary technical feedback loop to Product Management and Engineering.
• Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and public presentations.
