Business Development Director

About the role

The Business Development Director will lead new business efforts for an established signage company, focusing on enterprise brands across Germany and Europe. This role involves identifying and securing new contracts, managing complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, and building long-term relationships with senior marketing and procurement leaders. The successful candidate will operate with high autonomy to build a pipeline from scratch and drive growth through repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise brand accounts across Germany and Europe, from first outreach through to signed contract
• Build and own relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and senior marketing leaders
• Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes involving marketing, retail operations, and procurement
• Scope complex signage projects with clients and brief the internal delivery team clearly from day one
• Lead tenders, RFPs, pricing negotiations, and framework agreements
• Grow accounts over time through repeat orders, upsell, and multi-location rollouts
• Represent the company at selected trade fairs and industry events

Qualifications
