Principal Product Designer

About the role

Finom is seeking a Principal Product Designer to lead the design direction for our Core Experience, the foundational surface used by all customers. This senior individual contributor role involves transforming complex financial workflows into simple, accessible, and scalable experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and innovation across our mobile-first platform.

Responsibilities

• Own design across the full product lifecycle from discovery and problem framing to final implementation, QA, and polish.
• Turn complex fintech and SMB workflows into clear, user-centered experiences using research, product data, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and designers to scope work, define outcomes, and ship high-quality solutions.
• Create essential design artifacts including flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and clear product specs.
• Contribute to the design system and product quality bar to improve consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
• Support high-priority initiatives such as modular pricing, onboarding UX transformation, and AI Copilot features.
