Senior Fund Operations Manager

About the role

bunch is seeking a Senior Fund Operations Manager to help scale their private markets operating infrastructure following a Series B funding round. This role involves acting as a strategic partner to fund managers, overseeing complex post-close operational processes, and collaborating with product teams to improve internal tooling. The position requires a deep understanding of private markets operations and a commitment to delivering high-quality service through modern, automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic operational partner to fund managers, supporting day-to-day fund operations and delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Own and coordinate complex post-close operational processes, including capital calls, distributions, investor reporting cycles, and fund lifecycle events.
• Lead operational execution for fund migrations and new fund launches, including data review, reconciliation, and migration.
• Manage capital call and distribution calculations end-to-end, including interpretation of LPA clauses, management fee calculations, and liquidity buffer assessments.
• Partner with Fund Accounting to support reporting cycles and ensure data accuracy and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape internal platform tooling based on customer workflows and operational pain points.
• Mentor junior team members and establish high standards for operational rigour and quality.
