Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

The Platform Engineering team at AutoScout24 builds the internal platform that supports over 600 developers. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity through AI-driven tooling, including secure managed environments, AI-assisted CI, and agentic workflows on AWS. You will own products end-to-end, applying a product mindset to create tools that reduce friction for engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the internal AI platform including secure AI coding environments and agentic workflows on AWS.
• Own products end to end, designing, building, and improving them with a focus on developer experience.
• Identify developer friction points and implement solutions that are measurable and adoptable.
• Take ownership of technical topics, plan work, and drive projects to completion while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Set standards for AI-based development and tooling within the organization.
• Shape architecture and technology choices for platform foundations including Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Maintain platform reliability, security, and observability, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Capture and document reusable patterns, templates, and blueprints to accelerate organizational velocity.
