About the role

As a Databricks Platform Engineer, you will build and configure a modern data platform based on Databricks and Azure to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data usage. You will bridge the gap between platform development and customer needs by collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural choices. This role involves providing strategic direction for data platform development within a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and further develop a Databricks platform in Azure.
• Implement and deploy existing data platform services within client environments.
• Translate customer data product and use case requirements into platform choices.
• Advise on architecture, configuration, integrations, and best practices.
• Contribute to strategy regarding data, platform development, and scalability.
• Contribute to building Databricks knowledge within the company.
