Senior Engineering Project Manager

About the role

Idealworks is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation projects from concept to production. The role involves managing cross-functional teams across software and hardware workstreams, ensuring alignment between R&D, partners, and customers. You will act as the connective layer for technical initiatives including mobile robots, humanoid platforms, and simulation environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex engineering projects across the full lifecycle including scoping, planning, execution, integration, testing, and handover.
• Define and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, and resourcing while monitoring schedule, cost, and quality.
• Identify technical, schedule, and commercial risks early and drive mitigation and contingency planning.
• Plan and coordinate integration and validation phases across hardware, software, and systems components.
• Act as the connective layer between product management, engineering, R&D, and operations to ensure dependencies are managed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, and customers, leading steering committee meetings and status reviews.
