Product Solution Engineer

About the role

The Product Solution Engineer will develop a deep understanding of internal application behavior and tech operations to ensure system reliability. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, automating manual tasks, and collaborating with developers to enhance system productivity. The engineer will act as a bridge between user feedback and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of internal application behavior and tech operations across data centers and applications
• Analyze problems, diagnose and fix bugs of low complexity when appropriate
• Work with developers to identify and resolve more complicated problems
• Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs
• Adapt installer, shell scripts and perl scripts and aggressively automate manual tasks through scripting
• Provide feedback from customers/ users to the team
• Maintain on-going record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on-call tracking system
• Proactively monitor production and non-production environments and applications
• Develop smaller complexity features and utilities in existing system components to enhance productivity
