Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our London team to help improve code structure and architecture. You will lead project planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production systems within our grocery and retail ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence by improving code structure and architecture and performing high-impact code reviews.
• Lead project planning by identifying dependencies and risks in partnership with Product and Design teams.
• Optimise operations to simplify the maintenance and health of production systems.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to identify opportunities and influence the technical roadmap.
• Mentor colleagues and conduct engineering interviews to support team growth.
