Senior Database Administrator

About the role

The Senior Database Administrator will manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions while optimizing performance and ensuring high availability. This role involves implementing replication strategies and providing technical support to development teams to solve database-related challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Ensure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery across environments deployed on bare-metal servers and virtual machines
• Implement and manage replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backups
• Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem solving with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Perform troubleshooting
• Drive automation using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling for infrastructure and database lifecycle management

Qualifications
