About the role
The Engineering Manager for Data Intelligence will lead a team responsible for the utility backbone of the energy platform, including data platforms, data engineering, and business intelligence. This role involves owning the technical direction for critical systems such as metering data management, invoicing, and billing services. The manager will foster a culture of trust and collaboration while driving the evolution of the central data warehouse and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for the central data warehouse and the data platform.
- Build a scalable data backend for key processes including timeseries data management, invoicing, and billing services.
- Lead the design and operation of critical data pipelines, data quality standards, and observability practices.
- Manage platform infrastructure on AWS.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
