Chief Financial Officer

About the role

As CFO for our Luxembourg-regulated entity, you will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and fiscal oversight of Satispay's European hub. You will lead the entity's scalable Finance function, including statutory reporting, financial control, and audit coordination, while aligning corporate goals with banking compliance demands. This role requires a leader who can manage the local balance sheet and safeguard capital adequacy while integrating with the Group Finance organization.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the preparation and delivery of local statutory accounts, regulatory filings, and financial information for Group consolidation.
• Oversee the management of liquidity risks and the protection of client funds as per e-money statutes.
• Track and uphold institutional capital benchmarks and establish proactive detection mechanisms for market and liquidity exposures.
• Act as the primary financial representative to regulatory bodies, tax offices, and external auditors.
• Oversee Financial Control and Controlling functions, ensuring accurate month-end reporting and balance sheet integrity.
• Ensure efficient and scalable Finance Operations processes, including reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable.
• Work closely with the Group CFO and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of local financial activities and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified to meet the CSSF's fit-and-proper criteria for authorized director or manager
• 8 years of leadership in financial roles at a primary EU financial hub or within Luxembourg-regulated payment institutions, EMIs, or banks
