Security Engineer

About the role

Vivid is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to own and improve the security of their internal environment, including identities, SaaS applications, endpoints, AI tooling, and networks. This role involves designing controls, identifying security gaps, driving changes, and building automation to scale security operations. The successful candidate will lead technical initiatives independently and communicate effectively with both engineering teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own SIEM alerting end-to-end, including log management, detection rule tuning, and incident response.
• Administer identity providers and manage access recertification across SaaS, AWS, and internal tools.
• Improve SaaS security posture and apply DLP controls to prevent data leakage.
• Maintain the endpoint security stack and define posture requirements with automated remediation.
• Defend against phishing and spoofing while running security awareness simulations.
• Build internal tooling and automate repetitive operations to reduce manual work.
