Solutions Architect, New Business, EMEA

About the role

As a New Business Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospects in the EMEA region, helping them understand how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform addresses their technical and business objectives. You will own technical evaluations, shape solution architectures, and serve as the voice of the customer to internal product and engineering teams. The role focuses on driving platform adoption and building long-term relationships throughout the digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how the platform meets customer needs.
• Drive the technical evaluation process as the Directly Responsible Individual, including solution design and POC/POV ownership.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies for new customer acquisition.
• Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders to guide their digital transformation.
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
• Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles
