About the role

You will research and design a decision support system to optimize the configuration process for customer-specific production lines. The role involves analyzing current processes, modeling information, and creating a requirements document for a new pre-configurator. You will work at the intersection of sales, engineering, and IT to improve the interaction between the customer and the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the current configuration process and required input.
• Investigating methods to automate decision rules and customer information.
• Designing a concept for a pre-configurator to support sales and customers.
• Drafting a clear and complete requirements document for future development.
