About the role
Ashby is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as the first dedicated HR presence in the EMEA region. This role involves translating business objectives into people strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, and managing core HR functions including employment law, benefits, and employee relations. You will work closely with the US-based People team to support Ashby's growth while shaping an inclusive and productive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with EMEA leaders to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies
- Manage UK employment law compliance, including contracts, benefits, pensions, and leave processes
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
- Develop and scale internal management training programs and facilitate discussions
- Utilize compensation market data to maintain equitable pay practices across international regions
- Collaborate with the wider People team on strategic projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications
