About the role
esmeraPartners is a specialized M&A and corporate finance boutique focused on the renewable energy and energy infrastructure sectors. The firm supports clients through the entire transaction lifecycle, from strategic preparation to execution and asset management. The Associate will work closely with experienced deal leads on complex European energy transactions, taking early responsibility for key workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in M&A and financing mandates in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, from preparation to closing.
- Independently manage and coordinate key work packages within ongoing transactions.
- Develop, review, and refine financial models and perform valuations of companies, projects, and portfolios.
- Prepare teasers, information memorandums, management presentations, and decision documents for stakeholders.
- Analyze and process transaction, financing, and due diligence documentation.
- Conduct market, company, and investor research and analysis.
- Collaborate directly with deal leads, clients, investors, and external advisors.
- Support the preparation of pitches and the development of new mandates.
