Senior Controls Product Manager

About the role

The Senior Controls Product Manager will lead the Controls Product & Enablement team to build internal risk products that power safe growth at Monzo. This role sits at the intersection of product, risk, data, and engineering, focusing on transforming manual risk processes into automated, self-service digital solutions. You will act as the product lead for core risk lifecycles while driving the adoption of AI and data-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the Controls Product Roadmap by defining the vision, strategy, and backlog for internal risk products.
• Design, prototype, and build automated workflows, API integrations, and low-code/no-code solutions.
• Champion AI adoption across the discipline, including LLM prompting and custom agents to automate manual tasks.
• Drive the shift from point-in-time assessments to continuous, automated risk monitoring.
• Ensure high-impact adoption through intuitive UI/UX workflows and clear enablement for risk owners.
• Guide two direct reports and maintain momentum across the team's delivery plan.
