About the role

Destinusgroup is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee execution across the full vehicle development stack, including propulsion, structures, and avionics. This role involves managing programme schedules, cross-disciplinary coordination, and risk mitigation to ensure successful delivery of hardware projects. As an early hire in this group, you will also contribute to building the project management structure and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of vehicle-level and subsystem product development programmes from kick-off through delivery.
  • Build and maintain programme plans spanning propulsion, structures, avionics, systems engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
  • Run programme reviews and cross-functional coordination meetings to document decisions and track actions.
  • Work with engineering leads to track technical progress and translate it into clear programme status updates.
  • Coordinate system integration activities and manage interfaces between subsystems.
  • Manage external dependencies including supplier lead times, test facility scheduling, and regulatory submissions.
  • Identify and flag scope creep, resource conflicts, and schedule risks to leadership with proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of project management tools and ways of working for the department.
