About the role
The Director of Group Operations Strategy & Development will sit within the Group COO team to bridge the gap between strategic ambition and operational execution. This role involves defining the GCOO strategy, managing goal alignment across sub-functions, and overseeing financial reporting and global operating model design. The successful candidate will lead high-impact strategic projects and ensure clear communication and governance across UK and EU operations.
Responsibilities
- Define, align, and maintain the strategy for the Group COO team across UK, EU, and Controls functions.
- Lead the goal-setting process to ensure sub-function objectives align with top-level goals.
- Partner with Finance to embed monthly reporting processes and improve financial forecasting.
- Lead the transition to a global operating model by balancing global efficiency with local market requirements.
- Take accountability for high-impact strategic projects and collaborate across teams to ensure delivery.
- Track progress against the GCOO strategy and prepare updates for executive leadership and regulatory reporting.
