About the role
Destinusgroup is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee execution across the full vehicle development stack, including propulsion, structures, and avionics. This role involves managing programme schedules, cross-disciplinary coordination, and risk mitigation to support engineering teams. As an early hire in this group, you will also help establish the project management structure and processes.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution of vehicle-level and subsystem product development programmes from kick-off through delivery.
- Build and maintain programme plans spanning propulsion, structures, avionics, systems engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
- Run programme reviews and cross-functional coordination meetings to document decisions and track actions.
- Work with engineering leads to track technical progress and translate it into clear programme status.
- Coordinate system integration activities and manage interfaces between subsystems.
- Manage external dependencies including supplier lead times, test facility scheduling, and regulatory submissions.
- Identify and flag scope creep, resource conflicts, and schedule risks to leadership with proposed solutions.
- Contribute to building the project management structure, tools, and ways of working.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, or a related engineering discipline
- 5–8 years in a hardware-heavy development environment
- At least 2 years in a project management, programme coordination, or technical lead role
- Background in aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated hardware domain
