About the role
The Staff Product Designer will own complex, high-impact problem spaces within the marketplace, driving projects from discovery through to shipped outcomes. This senior individual-contributor role requires deep AI fluency to accelerate design and prototyping workflows. The successful candidate will partner with product and engineering leadership to set design standards and mentor the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for a major problem space in the marketplace, including buying, selling, or dealer-facing products.
- Prototype at pace using AI design tools to get testable experiences in front of users and stakeholders.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers using AI-assisted workflows to bridge the gap between design and code.
- Set strategic direction by identifying opportunities and making evidence-based cases to partners.
- Raise the craft bar across the team through critique, mentorship, and leading by example.
- Champion AI-native ways of working by building reusable prompts and workflows.
