Principal UX Designer

About the role

As a Principal UX Designer, you will serve as the specialist authority ensuring that AI projects are built with a user-centric approach. You will operate at the intersection of client engagements and the broader design practice, turning deep UX expertise into real-world impact for complex, operationally critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience strategy across demanding client AI engagements from discovery through handover-ready designs.
• Shape UX and CX strategy by framing problems and conducting evidence-based research with operators and engineers.
• Define interaction patterns for agentic systems including human-in-the-loop approval, latency communication, and error states.
• Set standards for designing and modernizing complex, data-dense, and operationally critical systems.
• Drive adoption of shared design systems and component libraries across project engagements.
• Establish DesignOps and design governance methodologies, review rituals, and quality bars across the project portfolio.
• Own and evolve experience and design standards across the professional services organization through review, critique, and mentoring.
