About the role

Tidal is seeking a Principal Product Designer to set the vision and quality bar across its product and brand ecosystem. You will work on a small, nimble team at the intersection of music, technology, and culture to shape the future of how artists build their careers. This role involves driving complex projects from concept to ship and influencing strategy while elevating design craft.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term product vision and design strategy across Tidal's key product areas
• Lead the most complex, ambiguous design initiatives end-to-end
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and ML/AI leadership to shape roadmaps and influence business strategy
• Set the bar for design excellence by defining systems, standards, and quality benchmarks at scale
• Pioneer AI-driven design approaches that expand team capabilities and accelerate velocity
• Mentor designers through feedback, critique, and knowledge sharing
• Identify new opportunities for the business and act on them
