Engineering Manager

About the role

Granola is seeking an Engineering Manager to act as an operational engine and talent multiplier for their engineering team. This role focuses on supporting engineer career growth, ensuring predictable delivery, and maintaining a high-trust, autonomous culture. You will work closely with product and design to manage project momentum while scaling the team in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular 1:1s and provide actionable feedback to support engineer development.
• Own squad momentum and delivery rhythm by managing trade-offs and removing friction.
• Implement efficient processes to keep teams aligned while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Foster a culture of high accountability, trust, and craftsmanship.
• Partner with leadership to recruit, interview, and onboard new engineering talent.
