Director of Developer Experience - Platform Engineering

About the role

Doctolib is seeking a Director of Developer Experience to lead a new AI Developer Experience team within the Platform Engineering department. The role involves building tooling and workflows that enable AI agents and engineers to test, review, ship, and monitor code reliably to scale engineering output. You will lead the transformation of developer productivity and infrastructure, reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build tools and workflows that allow agents to write, test, review and merge code including evaluation and security checks.
• Own testing and feedback for the monolith and satellite services, elevating CI setups into efficient agent-testing capabilities.
• Own developer productivity measurement in the context of AI, including DORA metrics and autonomous change rates.
• Lead the inner-loop experience, covering local and remote environments, onboarding, editor integration and sandboxing.
• Build and organise the team, developing agentic skills internally as AI adoption becomes a permanent capability.
• Partner with Product Engineering and Product Management to understand internal users and drive adoption.
