Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Carwow is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their award-winning team and drive impact across their two-sided automotive marketplace. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy end-to-end ML and AI solutions, ranging from pricing models and demand signals to LLM-powered operational tools. This is a high-ownership role requiring a candidate who can translate ambiguous business problems into production-ready technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science initiatives from problem framing through to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Design and build LLM-powered solutions for document processing, search, and content understanding.
• Connect technical work directly to business outcomes such as marketing efficiency and conversion rates.
• Perform prototyping and experimentation to validate ideas before full-scale development.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders.
• Contribute to shared best practices and mentor junior team members.
