People Operations Lead

About the role

The People Operations Lead will serve as the operational owner for People Operations in the UK, focusing on compliance, policy, and process design. This senior individual contributor role involves managing the full employee lifecycle, leading strategic projects, and building automations to improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the business maintains high standards of operational excellence as it scales.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of People Operations for the UK population, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain compliance with UK employment law, statutory requirements, and internal audit standards.
• Draft, revise, and roll out company policies and the employee handbook.
• Lead end-to-end strategic People Ops projects such as benefits redesign or payroll consolidation.
• Design and implement workflows and automations to reduce manual administrative tasks.
• Handle complex casework including sensitive investigations, contract variations, and leave management.
• Build reporting and dashboards to provide data-driven insights to leadership.
