International Audio/Video Remote German Interpreter

About the role

As an audio/video interpreter for German in LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you are responsible for handling audio and video calls on demand. You will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient community in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and German
• Technology proficiency
