About the role

Tide is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the engineering organization behind KYX, covering KYC and KYB processes. This role involves overseeing engineering strategy, organization, and execution across onboarding, continuous monitoring, and risk scoring domains. The successful candidate will lead distributed teams and drive the integration of agentic AI into regulated workflows to improve conversion and due diligence quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own the engineering strategy and organization for KYX, unifying leadership across onboarding and continuous monitoring lines.
  • Lead engineering across backend, frontend, data science, and ML engineering teams distributed across multiple international locations.
  • Manage the KYX Scoring and ML capability, including the full model lifecycle from development to production monitoring.
  • Scale agentic AI in regulated workflows in alignment with governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Ops, Policy, Risk, and Product to deliver measurable improvements in automated decisioning and cost efficiency.
