Senior Director Software Engineering

About the role

HOLOPLOT is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead a 20-person team and own the long-term software architecture for high-performance audio products. This role involves driving cross-functional delivery, strategic technical vision, and operational alignment between software, hardware, research, and product teams. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between technical execution and business objectives while fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the strategic vision for the technical backbone of the product ecosystem.
• Take full accountability for software delivery timeliness, quality, and reliability.
• Lead critical client-facing missions, OS rollouts, and on-site integration handovers.
• Attract, grow, and retain strong engineering talent to build high-performing teams.
• Drive seamless collaboration between Software, Research, Customer Success, and Product Management.
• Define and execute the company's AI strategy for software development and engineering workflows.
• Drive the technology security strategy, including cybersecurity and secure-by-design principles.
