About the role
As CTO, you will own Technology and Engineering at the C-level, reporting to the CEO and working as a peer to the CPO. You will build a strong leadership layer and an engineering system that balances speed with security, resilience, and evidence-based decision-making. This role involves translating company strategy into a technology strategy, managing engineering budgets, and overseeing regulated development for critical clinical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Translate company and product strategy into a technology strategy with clear capabilities, investments, and measurable proof points.
- Lead all engineering teams and leads, including platform, infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, and quality automation.
- Build a strong leadership layer, clear domain ownership, and resilient internal and external capacity.
- Own architecture, technology choices, reliability, security implementation, and regulated development for clinical workflows.
- Plan the engineering budget and capacity, deciding on build, buy, or outsource options.
- Shape AI-enabled engineering through personal practice to create measurable leverage without weakening security or quality.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clinics, partners, auditors, investors, and the board.
