Account Executive

About the role

As an Account Executive at Skalar, you will drive revenue growth by engaging with founders, CEOs, and CFOs of medium-sized enterprises to transition their tax and accounting services to our digital-first platform. You will manage the entire deal cycle, from qualifying inbound leads to closing, while collaborating closely with the Growth and Marketing teams. Additionally, you will help architect and automate our sales processes, leveraging your insights to shape our product development.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads by assessing tax and technical complexity against our ideal customer profile.
• Conduct discovery calls at the C-level to identify pain points in existing accounting and tax structures.
• Manage the full deal cycle from initial contact to contract signature.
• Drive offer and closing calls by building trust through professional expertise.
• Facilitate structured handovers to the onboarding team.
• Optimize the sales funnel and implement automations within HubSpot.
• Define requirements for software developers to improve sales tools and processes.
