Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant

About the role

Quantum Frontline Industries is seeking an experienced and digitally minded professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations for a modern mid-sized production company. This role involves handling operational postings, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and collaborating with commercial management and external tax advisors. The successful candidate will contribute to building efficient accounting and ERP processes within a growing defence joint venture.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting, in particular general ledger, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting
• Operational involvement in accounts payable, including account assignment, reconciliations and execution of payment runs
• Reconciliation of bank, general ledger and vendor accounts, as well as clarification of open items
• Preparation and execution of monthly closings, including provisions and accruals
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB in collaboration with the tax advisor
• Preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings
• Accounting responsibility for the PnL and Balance Sheet
• Support in liquidity planning, reporting and internal analyses
• Further development of accounting processes within the ERP system
• Main point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and internal departments
