Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will play a key role in financial accounting, contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB. This position involves managing operational accounting processes, ensuring reliable financial reporting, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting independently.
• Control daily incoming invoices and execute payment runs.
• Handle intercompany reconciliations and ensure transparent account management.
• Support the preparation of VAT returns and financial statistics.
• Collaborate with other departments on process optimization projects.
• Provide documentation and support for annual audits.
