About the role

You will be responsible for the accounting, consolidation, and group financial statements of Vogel as the company expands through acquisitions. This role involves automating accounting processes, managing reporting to stakeholders and banks, and ensuring the scalability of financial structures for future acquisitions. You will report directly to the company leadership and act as the primary internal expert for accounting and consolidation matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage group financial statements according to HGB, including capital and debt consolidation and elimination of intercompany results.
• Oversee the integration of new acquisitions into the consolidation circle, from opening balance sheets to purchase price allocation.
• Lead ongoing accounting across all entities and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Automate recurring accounting tasks, including booking, reconciliation, and closing preparation.
• Handle reporting to financing partners, including covenants and key performance indicators.
• Document consolidation logic transparently to ensure scalability for future acquisitions.
