Senior Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage ongoing financial accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and asset accounting. This role is responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring accurate tax treatment and intercompany reconciliations. The position also involves driving the digitalization and standardization of accounting processes to support the company's energy transition goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing financial accounting for accounts payable, receivable, and assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct account reconciliations and balance sheet valuations.
• Manage payment transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Create reports and analyses for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and support audits.
• Drive the digitalization and optimization of accounting processes.
