Senior Accountant

About the role

Stark is a defence technology company focused on autonomous systems and AI-driven software. This role involves managing general ledger accounting, supporting financial statement preparation, and assisting with the implementation of Oracle NetSuite. The successful candidate will collaborate with tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Manage ongoing general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Assist with the implementation of Oracle NetSuite.
• Review and record business transactions to ensure accurate financial representation.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants during audits.
• Contribute to the improvement and digitalization of financial accounting processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for financial accounting and tax inquiries.
