Senior Financial Controller

About the role

The Senior Financial Controller will play a key role in the finance organization, actively shaping the financial management of a growing company. You will be responsible for forecasts, budget planning, and cash flow analyses while developing reporting structures and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a combination of finance expertise and a strong understanding of business processes and data.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Create forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses
• Act as a finance business partner for accounting and internal stakeholders
• Create and monitor cash flow planning
• Analyze plan-actual deviations and derive recommendations for action
• Further develop reporting, calculations, and financial KPIs
• Optimize controlling processes and support the expansion of the BI landscape
• Ensure data quality and develop finance systems and interfaces

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
• Comparable commercial training
• Professional experience in financial controlling
