Senior Systems Engineer M365 & Azure

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead and develop their internal IT infrastructure. The role focuses on architecture, security, automation, and the advancement of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. You will collaborate with departments to optimize business processes through digitalization and automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop the Microsoft 365 environment including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Manage and optimize the Azure environment with a focus on virtual machines, networking, backup, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee network and security operations, including Sophos firewalls and VPN.
• Design and implement business process automations using Power Automate and PowerShell.
• Define technical standards, document the IT environment, and manage IT projects.
• Provide 3rd level support and mentor junior staff members.
• Identify and implement AI and digitalization solutions to optimize internal processes.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in system administration or as a systems engineer
• Very good knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Very good German language skills and good technical English
