About the role
The IT Systemadministrator will serve as the primary technical lead for the company's internal IT infrastructure. The role focuses on architecture, security, automation, and the strategic development of the Microsoft and Azure environments to optimize business processes. You will also provide 3rd level support and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Administer and develop the Microsoft 365 environment including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Manage and optimize the Azure infrastructure with a focus on virtual machines, networking, and backups.
- Oversee network security, including Sophos firewalls and VPN management.
- Design and implement business process automations using Power Automate and PowerShell.
- Define technical standards, document IT environments, and manage IT projects.
- Provide 3rd level support and mentor junior staff on technical best practices.
