Senior Solutions Engineer, New Business

About the role

Redwood Software is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical face of our orchestration platform for the autonomous enterprise. You will lead technical evaluations, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and help enterprise prospects understand the value of Service Orchestration and Automation Platforms. This role requires bridging technical depth with business value to effectively communicate with both technical architects and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Cover the full SOAP surface area by positioning capabilities across IT workload, workflow, data, self-service, and DevOps automation.
• Deliver technical presentations and live product overviews that connect AI capabilities to concrete operational outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools and LLM-based research to accelerate demo preparation, account research, and technical documentation.
• Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to articulate differentiation and handle objections.
• Lead hands-on proof-of-concept work, including light scripting with REST APIs, Python, or bash to validate use cases.
• Provide technical insight and market context to Account Executives to sharpen messaging and accelerate acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 3+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or adjacent technical role in enterprise software
