Senior Engagement Manager

About the role

The Senior Engagement Manager will design, position, and close outcome-oriented professional services engagements to drive GitLab's growth in Germany. This role involves building trusted advisor relationships with technical leaders and partners to integrate professional services into account strategies from discovery through delivery. You will translate complex DevSecOps and digital transformation initiatives into clear, measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisor relationships with division chiefs, program managers, and technical leaders
• Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and Systems Integrators to understand requirements and business outcomes
• Design outcome-oriented services proposals that align GitLab capabilities with customer success metrics
• Structure engagements and commercial proposals while maintaining flexibility for staff augmentation
• Develop custom-scoped SOWs and staffing plans for complex implementations
• Manage project- and account-level escalations to ensure rapid resolution and maintain customer confidence
