About the role
As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you will own and elevate the end-to-end hiring journey for Opencast's partner and contractor associate workforce. You will focus on creative direct sourcing, talent pooling, and relationship building to attract diverse talent while supporting contractors throughout their journey with the company. The role involves translating workforce plans into hiring strategies and ensuring a smooth, inclusive experience for all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Opencast's contingent workforce network and diverse talent pipelines through direct outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Support the end-to-end contingent recruitment process, working with the Contingent Workforce Manager to meet hiring forecasts.
- Apply knowledge of IR35 to carry out accurate determinations and manage contractual arrangements.
- Identify and implement robust assessment processes, including reviewing applications and supporting early-stage interviews.
- Build and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and partners to ensure compliant candidate submissions.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the external market and recruitment legislation through networking and industry events.
