Demo Engineer

About the role

You will be a force multiplier for the Pre-sales organization by owning the end-to-end demo experience at Zip. This role involves designing and building demo environments, data sets, and scripts to ensure Solution Engineers can deliver technically credible demos consistently. You will act as a hands-on builder, creating self-service tooling and AI-driven workflows to streamline the demo process.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain demo environments, data sets, and scripts for the Solution Engineering team.
• Develop self-service tooling and templates to enable efficient demo delivery by SEs and AEs.
• Create compelling demo narratives and talk tracks that translate technical features into effective stories.
• Partner with Product and Product Marketing to ensure demo assets remain aligned with new releases.
• Automate demo scripting, asset generation, and environment validation using AI and Playwright.
• Build and maintain agentic loops to proactively monitor and repair demo environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or demo engineering at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
• Hands-on experience with scripting, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted development
• Experience automating end-to-end workflows with browser-automation frameworks
• Experience designing and maintaining agentic loops
