Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect will own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated-industry deployments, bridging the gap between customer infrastructure requirements and the Plane platform. This role involves working directly with sales teams on large deals and collaborating with engineering to address specific product gaps for complex, self-hosted, or air-gapped environments. You will serve as the primary technical voice for customers, ensuring deployments meet rigorous security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for enterprise and regulated-industry deployments, from discovery through to the signed statement of work.
• Design self-hosted and air-gapped deployments that satisfy specific customer security reviews.
• Run technical discovery sessions with customer infrastructure and compliance teams.
• Define migration paths for customers moving from legacy tools to the Plane platform.
• Collaborate daily with sales on live deals and with engineering to scope product gaps.
• Complete security questionnaires and compliance documentation for regulated procurement processes.
