About the role

Solactive is seeking a Director of Data Platform to lead the architecture and operation of its internal data hub. The role involves ensuring the delivery of clean, reliable, and timely market data to support index construction, analytics, and client delivery. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 30 professionals and drive the strategic vision for the company's data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Translate market data and client requirements into platform capabilities, aligning technical solutions with business and product objectives.
• Define and deliver the data platform vision by building and operating a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of approximately 30 data engineers and operations professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end data operations from ingestion and normalization of external market data sources to internal distribution.
• Shape data architecture and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, lineage, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Drive strategic alignment and execution across engineering, product, and operations teams.
• Promote innovation by evaluating internal and external solutions to ensure the platform evolves with new technologies and business needs.
